Get ready to throw down and show off your skills at the Winter Carnival Rail Jam Open! This fun and inclusive event is open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability levels. Whether you're a seasoned shredder or just starting out, this jam session is all about progression, creativity, and good vibes. Participants will take turns hitting a specially designed rail jam course in a "Do a Trick, Get a Prize" format . Land a trick, and you could score awesome swag from DAKINE, North Face, Steamboat, and more!

Join us for the Steamboat Light the Night Celebration. This evening of sensory delight features four magnificent hot air balloons that will illuminate the Mountain Village from 5:30 - 6:30pm. The celebration culminates with fireworks and a Torchlight Parade. Spectators can stroll among the standing balloons or watch from the warmth of a slope side eatery. Timber & Torch and The Range Food & Drink Hall will be open to warm up and enjoy dinner and drinks. The merriment doesn't end there - continue the fun with night skiing or take a twirl on Skeeter's Ice Rink.

WinterWonderGrass Festival will return to Steamboat Resort February 28 - March 2, 2025! Since 2013, WinterWonderGrass has been a grassroots mountainside gathering celebrating all things natural: bluegrass, roots & craft brew! This year, WinterWonderGrass Festival keeps that spirit alive bringing together authentic bluegrass music and Colorado craft beer for one of the best music festivals of the season. The festival features over 20 Colorado craft breweries with complimentary beer tasting from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and more than 25 bands during this three day event.

The first Slash n Burn came to life in 2014 with a collaboration between the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and Powder Tools, and now today, it is all grown up and is one of the biggest banked slalom events in the U.S. This event has been bringing together the best in the industry along with the best riders in the world, celebrating the entire snowboard community. Open to any snowboarder with a groms-only (under 18) day on Sunday. Don’t miss this event in 2025!

The Cardboard Classic, Steamboat's traditional rite of spring returns to the Steamboat Ski Area for the 43nd year. This wild and hilarious race features homemade cardboard crafts, constructed only from cardboard, glue, string, water based paint, duct tape, masking tape, balloons and other decorations, racing down Stampede to a hysterical finish. These ingenious creations make for an event not to be missed.

The final Bud Light Rocks the Boat free concert of 2024/2025 season is none other than the legendary Wailers! Not many bands can claim genuine legend status. The Wailers comfortably claim their place in essential music history. Their music was, and is, culture-defining: rebel hearts with brave souls embodying the spirit of 70s era-defining reggae. The band play a special set featuring incredible cuts from Bob Marley’s formidable back catalogue along with a string of their greatest, classic hits. The Wailers are giving you a chance to be part of the legacy. Aston Barrett Jr, himself reggae royalty as son of the irrepressible ‘Familyman’, carries the flame for The Wailers in a show that is simply not to be missed.
